Just a quick update on the ever expanding baby belly.

I have a feeling this topic will be a reoccurring one.
I like to fancy myself a person who is practicing some form of Buddhism. What does that mean? It means I’m trying live in the Dhamma. Do I succeed? Well, I’m trying and hell I only said I was practicing.
What does being in the moment really mean? Does it mean I can’t think about the future? I’m finding this to be almost impossible these days. I know in a few months the most amazing thing in my life is going to happen. I’m going to be a father. How can I be expected to live in the moment now? It seems so easy to see how one can be in the moment once the baby is born and I can mentally sit back and enjoy how wonderful things are with the baby. I can even sit back and enjoy how horrible things are with the baby crying and pooping. BUT how can I sit back and enjoy waiting for the baby?
I got no clue, this isn’t going to be some magical post where I answer my own question. It’s just going to be a post where I put out the problem and let the problem be in the moment.
Do we have a house divided or just two sides of a brain? Not sure really, but we ended up with two blogs. The Mung Beans and Bliss of Life. Both are cool, both are fun, one has better grammar.
So what to blog about. I guess the Mung Beans will probably comprise of family stuff and the occasional rant from me….stay tuned for Rant #1.
No flash photography please, natural light only.
Godiva is a cute little pup but unfortunately she is the queen of red eye so it is rare to find a pic of her without evil demon red eyes. We were lucky enough to snap off a few of her after a bath on a particularly sunny Saturday.
