I don’t think I really need to elaborate more.

We are slowly getting our nursery/everything room put together and our house is looking a bit like a storage warehouse rather than a home right now. Currently we have a bunch of IKEA furniture sitting in our shed and this lovely rocking chair (in natural linen not blue) sitting in its gigantic box in our living room.
Today the cedars are doing a number on Kisha so all the animals in the house are trying their best to help her. Meester Kitty has graciously volunteered to help groom Dexter for her while Kisha gets some rest.

If you read an earlier post regarding a certain pregnant lady mailing off my textbook you might have an idea about what this post is about and why I look so happy in the picture above.
First off, my professor was nice enough to give me an extension to take my midterm and also loaned me an old copy of the textbook that he had while I tried to figure out what to do about my textbook. I mailed off the proper book to the guy that bought my old textbook on Half.com and put in it a letter telling him what happened. He was nice enough to mail my old book back to me, he didn’t even as to be compensated for the shipping, though I refunded the shipping costs to him in the price of the book he bought from me on Half.com. So this was a pretty funny experience and it will be a great story to tell when our kid is off reading some super futuristic holographic textbook in his/her flying car in the future.

I’ve often heard that pregnancy can make people forgetful and so far we’ve witness two incidents. One was back when Kisha first got pregnant and she threw away all of our grocery money, which we luckily were able to dig out of the trash. The second one happened today.
I sold an old textbook from a class I took last term on Half.com and I asked Kisha to mail the book for me. She went off today and mailed a textbook, unfortunately it was the textbook from a class that I’m taking right now AND it’s a class that I have a test next week in. So now somewhere in the bowels of the United States Postal Service is my text book. Needless to say we both freaked out pretty hard. Fortunately I emailed my professor and he is being amazingly nice. He’s trying to track down a book he can loan me and if he can’t find one soon he said he’ll just let me postpone my exam. I also have an email out to the person we sent the wrong book to in hopes that he’ll get back to me so I can get him to return it.
Pretty intense stuff. I was freaking out pretty bad but thankfully my professor was just amazingly nice and he said we shouldn’t worry and that we should spend our time thinking about what matters and thats our little baby. Kisha is still a bit upset about it but I’m already seeing the humor in this all. It’s pretty damn funny if you ask me.
