The Mung Beans

If you are an avid Mung Beaner you probably have noticed that the posts to the blog have been a bit sparse the last couple of weeks.  This is because we’ve been running around a lot recently due to my mother’s very declining health.  I’m not really comfortable posting about it so I’ll leave it at that.  On a happier note we had a shower-by-proxy over the weekend which has landed us some baby loot.  We got our car seat which was awesome.  Driving home from Houston with it in the Mazda5 really brought home the idea that we are having a baby really soon.  Also, I was starting to worry a bit about needing to purchase all of our diapers and I did some quick math on how much money they would be and when we got home I opened my mail and what do I find but a check from our mortgage company with the amount I needed for diapers and a few other essentials in the form of a refund check on our extra escrow money.  Pretty sweet.
