Bliss of LifeWe had a great visit from an old friend, Courtney. Courtney is one of the few people that new Kisha and I from when we first started dating and now she got to meet our newest addition to the gang, Lily.
Here are a few other great pictures that we got of Lily tonight in her Boppy Bouncer enjoying her new toy that Courtney bought her. She loves it.
Kisha proved to be quite the shutterbug with the new camera. She got some awesome pictures of Lily smiling for her mama.
We took our first family vacation this weekend down in Corpus Christi. It was great. We had one goal for the trip, go to the beach. We succeeded completely and had a great time.
Lily is sporting her sun protection clothing. It was a little big for her but it was the best we could find in July. Why do stores stop carrying summer stuff so early?
We had a pretty sweet setup at the beach (Padre Island National Seashore), the sun didn’t have a chance against our preparations!
Lily spent most of the beach visit sleeping on Kisha or getting her “noms” but she did have a chance to get in the water for a few minutes. We think she thought she was in the womb again with the sound and warmth of the water. She put herself in a fetal position in the water and started to fall asleep, she was so cute.
I wanted to get a shot of her in the water but I just couldn’t tear myself away from playing with her in the gulf to get the camera.
BTW, if you are curious what kind of diapers Lily is wearing they are Tushies Disposable diapers. We wanted to try them out for traveling and they worked pretty good after we got the hang of them, though a big 2 day poop did overpower them. Tushies are the only gel-free disposable diapers on the market and are probably the next best thing to cloth diapering.
