4 Month Checkup
Posted in Uncategorized on 09/25/2008 07:38 pm by benWe had our 4 month checkup with Dr. Wheelock. Of course we were late. We really like our Doc but she is just way out there for us but for now we’ll have to deal with it since it is hard to find someone who takes our insurance and will be understandable with our desires to be cautious with vaccines. Lily was as our doc said “a perfect baby” which we already knew. She weighs in at 12lbs 13 ozs which puts her at the 50th percentile for weight and she is 25″ long, which is the 75th percentile. He head circumfrence came in at at 50th percentile as well. To celebrate we decided to do some serious upside down baby! Also, Lily made out like a bandit getting a new soft organic “love blankie” from miYim and a skwish from Manhattan Toys.

Posted in Uncategorized on 09/23/2008 09:15 am by benI suggest checking Kisha’s site out, she has a great new post. Yesterday, when I got home from work I found Kisha and Lily waiting for me on the front porch. Lily was hanging out in her Bumbo baby seat. I just thought it was funny seeing her holding on to the arm rests so I took a quick pic of her with my Blackberry.
Rolling Over
Posted in Uncategorized on 09/12/2008 12:12 pm by benI’ve been a bad blogger recently and haven’t updated the site recently. To make it up for everyone here is a quick video of Lily rolling over. She just started doing this on Monday (16th week).

Posted in Uncategorized on 09/01/2008 05:26 pm by benIt’s been a pretty busy past few days. I’ve been travelling a lot for work recently and unfortunately still have one more trip lined up before I can try to slow down. Fortunately I was able to get a nice long 3.5 day weekend and Lily was sure to show me all the new things she’s been doing.
First off she has gotten pretty good at learning new tricks if she is given a quick demonstration. For a while now she’s been grabbing one of the rings in her play gym. I showed her that how much fun it would be to grab both at the same time and she quickly reached out and did it on her own and now she’s been hitting the gym pretty hard.
She’s also discovered the animals in the house and has very timidly started petting on Godiva. Godiva is usually afraid of everything but she was really good and let Lily pet away on her. We think it is just due to the complete lack of attention she’s been getting since Lily was born.
We don’t believe it is allergies but Lily had a pretty big sneeze that ended the lovefest.
Lastly, Lily has always hated tummy time so we pretty much just didn’t do it. This morning I was putting a new little outfit on her and it required that I put her on her tummy so I could fasten the button on the back and all of the sudden Lily was lifting up her head and having a pretty good time on her tummy.
