New Bed

So Lily has started rolling around way too much for us to feel comfortable letting her nap on our bed so we went off and got her a mattress for her playroom.  We searched around trying to find the right mattress that wasn’t ridiculously priced and we ended up getting a Earthsmart mattress from Eco-Wise.  It is made from recycled plastic bottles so it is completely hypo-allergenic and since there is no cotton inside it dust mites and other bugs will not grow in it.  We outfitted it with some super soft (and pretty well priced) organic sheets from Target (they have more colors in store).  We love these sheets, we have 3 different sets of them for our main bed.  Lily seems to approve of the setup.

6 Months Old!

Lily is 6 months old today!  Its amazing how difficult things feel sometimes but then you remember how much harder they were just 6 months ago and back then we didn’t have this!

This is how Lily rolls

I’ve been a bad blogger and haven’t posted since Nov 5th.  Since then both myself and K both got sick something fierce.  We had all the fun symptons…cough, sneeze, congestion, headaches and body aches.  Also, during this time my dad and sister stopped by for a day and brought with them my dad’s brand new car.  As you can tell Lily really likes the car and likes the BMW luxury.  She really liked the comfort package and leather wrapped stealing wheel.

My President

I’m not really used to this feeling.  I think its called victory.  We live in an amazing time and I’m trying my best to raise an amazing little girl.  I just can’t help feel a renewed hope.

Of course, the little devil on my other shoulder can’t help but post this picture too.

Happy Halloween

So Lily had her 1st Halloween last night…though we aren’t really considering it official since she wasn’t able to say “Trick or Treat” and eat some horribly bad candy…maybe next year!  Kisha has been slaving away to make Lily her Halloween “outfit”.  It turned out great, I’m still amazed by her knitting skillz.  She even got an offer to sale the hats at a local eco-friendly store.

Lily even got to get a couple of door knocks in.
