Shed Update

Things have been moving at a snails pace with the shed recently but we had a couple, sadly just a couple, of really good days of work recently.

Our backyard looks fantastic right now too.

Sleep

I think this might be the most sleep Lily has had in the past two days.  Poor thing is teething really bad right now.  It is either her top two teeth or the teeth on either side of her bottom two.

Does my butt look big in this onesie?

It’s all diaper.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day (Late)

IMGP6315 So we made sure Lily didn’t get any unwarranted pinches yesterday by having her sport a cute little green top and her green little piggies pants.  I find it amazing how right now she still has a little red in her hair, I know she must be getting it from my mom.  She’ll probably end up darkening to a brunette when she gets old kinda like how her eyes are slowly turning browner and browner.

Lily got herself a new toy recently.  There are some toys that are just so cool that you know will bring hours of fun or possibly visits from Child Protective Services due to all the injuries that it causes.  This is one such toy.

We picked up these sweet ramps and other shapes from Target.com with the help of a late baby gift card.  We’ve been eyeing these for a while but we’ve been waiting until Lily was really sure footed and needed a new way to fall down.   So far she seems to love them and just can’t keep herself from trying to scale the giant triangle.

Today was a good day

We had a great day today.  I took Lily to the Farmer’s Market this morning and we all went to Town Lake Park later in the day.  It was just a nice relaxing day.  I took an extraordinarily poor video quality video of Lily at the park with my Blackberry.  The quality is horrible but the Bean content is great.

Something New – Co-Sleeping Papa Style

I think that my desires to be able to take a real nap with Lily is one that most dads have.  When she was little bitty I was able to do this but as she got older it became a real balancing act to get her to sleep but it appears a new phase in her sleep as emerged and naps with Papa are now possible!

This new feat definitely has its advantages.  Last night Lily woke up at around 3:30am and didn’t want to fall back to sleep so I took her into the play room and changed her diaper and layed down on the bed, a few minutes later she crawled over next to me and planted her face down into the mattress and went to sleep.  We slept like this till about 7:30am.  It was fantastic.
